Viking Fund
Viking Fund
Excellent Christian education is expensive. Especially in a K-12 school that strives to provide outstanding opportunities in academics, the arts, athletics and in the variety of activities that complete the educational experience. As God has blessed LCS with growth and development, this progress includes increased financial obligations. In an effort to keep Christian education accessible, tuition income simply does not cover all of the expenses for educating students.
The Viking Fund is the annual giving program of Lakeland Christian School. Viking Fund donations are given in addition to tuition payments and capital giving. These contributions are provided to ensure LCS provides excellence, campus wide. Gifts are provided by the entire school family – parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, alumni, alumni family members, businesses and other friends of the school.
While your Viking Fund donation enables the school to continue to provide excellent academic and co-curricular programs, the real beneficiaries are the students, whose years at LCS will prepare them for life-long work and service.
How can I give to the Viking Fund?
Support for the Viking Fund can be provided through a one-time gift or through a commitment to give on a monthly or other regular basis during each school year. Checks may be made payable to Lakeland Christian School. Appreciated securities, real estate or other items of value are also accepted.
