Technology

At Lakeland Christian School, our students enjoy the best educational technology available.  Each of the 33 classrooms in the Elementary/Middle School Building features Smartboards, surround sound and multiple computer stations in each classroom.  A wireless mobile Mac lab is also utilized by students every day.  In addition to the Mac lab, there are two computer labs available to students of all ages.

With the use of Boosterthon funds and through the generosity of a school grandparents, Lakeland Christian School was able to purchase 100 iPads, 50 iPod Touches, four MacBook Pro laptops and 20 iMac computers. Almost all of these devices are mobile and can be used in classrooms all over the school. The acquisition of these Apple devices allows LCS to be in the forefront of the technology available today. From graphing algebraic equations to studying the solar system to digitally dissecting frogs, students from kindergarten to twelfth grade can use the products to become more engaged in the learning process and to experience many hands-on activities through modern technology.

Elementary students have a weekly computer class.
