Progress reports will be sent out via RenWeb at the end of the day (by 4 PM) on Tuesday, May 14. If you have a RenWeb issue and are unable to view your child’s progress report, please contact the Secondary Office at 863-688-2771.
On Tuesday, May 21, the annual Academic Awards Night will be held for students in grades 4-8. The elementary presentations (grades 4-5) will be held at 6:30 PM. The middle school program will begin immediately after the elementary at 7:30 PM. We will have a brief intermission between sessions for those who have students at only one grade level. Academic awards for students in grades 9-11 will be presented in chapel on Thursday, May 23, in the cafeteria. Parents are invited to attend. Senior awards are presented at graduation.

Thursday, May 2, is the National Day of Prayer. Please take a moment to pray for Lakeland Christian School – the students, faculty, administration, board of directors and school families. Also, pray for the President, Congress and national and state government officials.
The final Chick-fil-A Spirit Night of the school year is scheduled for Monday, May 6. Stop by the South Florida or North Florida CFA restaurants from 5-8 PM and mention LCS when you order. A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to LCS for various “Creation Care” activities. Each month the elementary class with the highest participation wins a CFA field trip and special treat.
LCS will be hosting a rummage sale on Saturday, May 11, from 7 AM to 2 PM in the gymnasium. The proceeds will benefit students attending Student Leadership University. Donations are needed, and we will take everything: furniture, clothes, appliances, electronics, etc. Please drop items off at the Maintenance building from 7:30 AM – 4 PM on school days. Questions? High school juniors and seniors will be taking Advanced Placement exams from May 6-16. The exams will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM.
