Softball
Under the leadership of head coach Rand Reese, the 2010 varsity softball team made its first ever apperance in the State Semifinal. The Lady Vikings finished their season with a record of 20 wins, only 5 losses, and both the District and Regional championship titles.
Baseball
The varsity baseball team won the 2010 District title and finished the season with a 15-13 record and will look to improve even more in 2011.
Tennis
Girls - The Viking girls' tennis team finished second in the 2010 District tournament, but will look to clinch a District Championship in 2011.
Boys - Under the leadership of new head coach Joel Helm, the 2010 Viking boys' tennis team finished their season with a record of 8 wins and only 3 losses.
Track & Field
The track team has seen its share of success throughout the history of LCS. The 2010 season was no exception. Ten athletes qualified for State, where they placed in a number of events. Freshman Mallory White's third place finishes in the 800-meter run and the high jump led the girls' team to a 14th place overall finish in the State Championship meet.
Weightlifting
Coach Bobby Dan McGlohorn returned to coach the Viking varsity weightlifting team for its second year of competition in 2010. While the other spring athletes take the competition outside, the boys' weightlifting team will be putting their strength to the test in the weightroom. The team competed in five meets during the months of March and April and will look to improve in 2011.
