Robotics Team Finishes Second in ROBOT League Meet

Congratulations to the LCS FIRST Tech Challenge Team 7719: Team RISE on their second place finish in the ROBOT League Meet in Tampa on Saturday, December 3.  

The LCS team is currently ranked #23 out of 136 teams in the state of Florida.  The top 28 teams advance to the State Championship. 

The LCS competition team is comprised of twelve members, and six of them are sixth graders.  According to Mrs. Jennifer Canady, RISE Institute Director, LCS is the only team in the state that even allows sixth graders to participate; FIRST Tech Challenge is typically reserved for older high schoolers.
