WHAT LED YOU TO LAKELAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

While attending Florida Southern College, I helped provide medical coverage at Lakeland Christian Football games. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and my Master’s degree in Biomechanics at Fort Hays State University, God blessed me with the opportunity to become the Head Athletic Trainer here at LCS. It has been a dream-come-true ever since.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO TEACH IN YOUR CLASS?

I love teaching students to think outside of the box. In my Sports Medicine honors class, I specifically enjoy teaching students how analyze athletes’ posture to discover and predict musculoskeletal injuries.

WHAT IS ONE FUN FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? 

I used to be the lead singer in a Christian Rock band while in college. My wife, Melissa, may not have been a big fan of Rock music, but she came to every one of our shows.
