WHAT LED YOU TO LAKELAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

Now that my husband is retired, he was a snowbird (from Western NY) in the Lakeland area for the last few years. Last year, he drove by the school and encouraged me to leave my resume for any future openings. God led me to leave my resume that year. There were two openings-both for a Biology teacher at LCS (which I think has never happened in the past). God’s timing led me to LCS!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN YOUR LCS JOB?

Lab experiments! I love seeing students take what we talk about in class and then “see it” when they do hands-on activities. It is fun to use science equipment and tools to observe and collect data with curious students!

WHAT MAKES LAKELAND SPECIAL?

My favorite thing to do in Lakeland is to ride my motorcycle to various music events and eat out at the many yummy places to eat in Lakeland!
