WHAT LED YOU TO LAKELAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

My husband and I visited LCS looking for a school for our daughter to attend. She started here in Kindergarten while I was teaching online with Florida Virtual School. We all loved LCS so much that when my youngest was old enough to start at LCS, I applied for a position here to teach Algebra 1. I couldn’t wait to get back into the classroom and be able to talk to my students about Jesus.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO TEACH IN YOUR CLASS?

I love to teach almost everything in Algebra 1. I especially love to teach graphing lines and writing equations of lines because I have songs that go with the different methods and formulas. It happens to be Christmas time when this unit rolls around so we get to go caroling with our graphing songs. It is the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year”.

WHAT IS ONE FUN FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I am married to my high school sweetheart. We started dating when I was in 10^th grade.
