We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.

WHAT LED YOU TO LAKELAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

I attended LCS from 4^th-9^th grade (no LCS high school at that time). My teachers were influential and one in particular was of great benefit to me in 9^th grade. His influence gave me a vision for the potential influence that a teacher and coach can have in the life of students.

I returned to LCS to teach in 1972 and have served as a teacher of social studies, Bible, and physical education, as well a coaching basketball, baseball, and tennis. I was asked to move into administration as the first LCS Athletic Director and first Secondary Assistant Principal. I was appointed School Principal in 1996 and Head of School in 1997.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO IN YOUR LCS JOB?

I enjoy the opportunity to have ongoing connection with LCS alumni long after graduation. We have over 35 graduates that are my colleagues on the staff, and many alumni as school parents. That is a very special blessing of long-term service here.
