We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.

WHAT LED YOU TO LAKELAND CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

I spent several hours observing the band program at LCS while I was in college at Southeastern University. Since then, I have often said that working here would be my dream job. I am incredibly blessed that the Lord brought me here and now I get to be a small part of the school’s mission.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO TEACH IN YOUR CLASS?

I have the privilege of teaching students how to develop and use their God-given musical abilities to worship Him and lead others to Him. “Soli Deo Gloria”—Glory to God alone—is why I love teaching music.

WHAT IS ONE FUN FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU? 

I once performed as part of jazz band that opened a session featuring George W. Bush.
