Lakeland Christian School isn't just a school. We are an active, vibrant community made up of students, teachers, staff, administrators, alumni, parents, grandparents and supporters. We share a common mission: to educate students in the light of God's word to equip them for a lifetime of learning, leadership, service and worship. The mission plays out every day in the classrooms, during chapel time, on the playgrounds, on the athletic fields, on the stage, at lunchtime, through student-teacher interactions and outside the walls of the school. Starting next week, the stories of Lakeland Christian School will be shared each week on the brand new campus blog, "Viking Views." This weekly blog will be made up of many voices: Dr. Sligh, our principals, teachers, and even students! You may get to read about a day in the life of a senior, how to prepare your student for a college visit, why the senior class decorates Burger King crowns every year or how to build a catapult. The topics are limitless, and we hope you will check the website often to read about what's going on around the school.
The blog will be posted on the homepage of the website, so visit www.lcsonline.org and check it out!
