LCS and UF To Support Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Victims

The University of Florida’s College of Medicine and Lakeland Christian School’s Spanish Honors Society are combining efforts through the Puerto Rico Relief Fund to provide basic health, medical, and food supplies to the island’s hurricane victims.

This fundraising effort, started by current UF medical student and LCS alum Lymaries Velez (Class of 2013), has developed partnerships with local hospitals and churches to provide medications, personal hygiene products, and water filtration systems directly through these secure sources.  You can help The Puerto Rico Relief fund to reach its goal of $50,000 by visiting www.youcaring.com/puertoricorelieffund.
