Lakeland Christian School

One of the core values of LCS is the belief that we are partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children. We believe that mutual respect, communication and involvement by all partners is essential for success of our mission.LCS is a school. We believe that being a Christian school and being a top-flight academic institution should not be mutually exclusive. On the contrary, we take the mandate of Colossians 3:23 that calls us to strive to be the best. We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.

Sherrie Adams, a Para-Professional with LCS Discovery Program, was the recipient of an email from a Representative of Pyramid Global Partners, Sarah McConnell.

She writes: “I’m excited to let you know that Hunter’s book will finally be released later this week. Our graphics team recently converted Hunter’s book into digital format. In the next few days, The Special Jake will be available as a free downloadable book on all of our English websites (USA, UK, Australia, and Canada). Historically, our book sales haven’t been the best so we decided that the best way to get this book out to the most amount of people worldwide is to make it available on our websites so that all can benefit from it.  Our hope with the release of this book is that it will help spread awareness and acceptance of those with autism and other differences.

The Special Jake will be available as a flipbook as well as a PDF file that may be downloaded and printed directly from our websites. A link to Hunter’s book as a flipbook is available for you to preview at the following link: https://www.paperturn-view.com/?pid=NjY66780

McConnell’s email goes on to say, “After The Special Jake is released, our English operating companies will likely be promoting its release and availability via social media. We will also be giving our non-English companies an opportunity to translate the book as well. So, it’s likely that Hunter’s book could be popping up in other languages as well.”

And, in closing, she states, “My apologies that the release of this has been many years in the making.  However, I do feel that Hunter’s book will have the most positive impact by releasing it on our websites as a flipbook, and this just wasn’t an option available to us until recently. Have a wonderful night, Sherrie!”
