Lakeland Christian School
One of the core values of LCS is the belief that we are partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children. We believe that mutual respect, communication and involvement by all partners is essential for success of our mission.LCS is a school. We believe that being a Christian school and being a top-flight academic institution should not be mutually exclusive. On the contrary, we take the mandate of Colossians 3:23 that calls us to strive to be the best. We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.Team RISE Robotics will continue their season at the State Championship in Jacksonville Feb 28-29!
They won the 2nd place “Inspire Award” in a hard-fought battle at Saturday’s League Championship in Tampa. Inspire Awards are given to the overall best teams reaching the highest level in all parts of FIRST including programming, robot design, the engineering notebook, judging presentations, gracious professionalism, and outreach.
Team RISE also won 1st place “Motivate” Award, 1st place “Promote” Award, 2nd place Engineering Notebook.
Team RISE includes Jonas Streets, Lily Sirianni, Rachel Branham, Gabriela Davis, Madison Powers, Lauren Nonnenmocher, Jordan Nuthalapaty, Wenjo Lai, and Connor McLoughlin.
Please join us in congratulating these hard working students and their coach, Darise McLoughlin.
Please pray that they would have opportunity to point others to Christ as they interact in the STEM community.
