Lakeland Christian SchoolOne of the core values of LCS is the belief that we are partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children. We believe that mutual respect, communication and involvement by all partners is essential for success of our mission.LCS is a school. We believe that being a Christian school and being a top-flight academic institution should not be mutually exclusive. On the contrary, we take the mandate of Colossians 3:23 that calls us to strive to be the best. We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.
Isn’t it nice to be invited? I think we all share the sentiment that hearing you are wanted and valued makes us feel good.
We are learning that one of the most important things we can do here on campus during reenrollment time is telling our current students how much we value them and want them to come back next year. One tool that we have found helpful as our students, especially those in middle and high school, often begin to consider other schooling options, is for them to hear from those who have gone before them – alums who later reflect on how valuable their time was here at LCS.
Listen to alum Kirsti Mutz Lewis as she shares her LCS story and encourages our students to consider why staying at LCS through graduation is a great choice.
