Lakeland Christian School
One of the core values of LCS is the belief that we are partnering with parents in the Christian education of their children. We believe that mutual respect, communication and involvement by all partners is essential for success of our mission.LCS is a school. We believe that being a Christian school and being a top-flight academic institution should not be mutually exclusive. On the contrary, we take the mandate of Colossians 3:23 that calls us to strive to be the best. We provide a variety of rigorous, engaging, academic and co-curricular activities that enable students to identify and express the full range of their unique gifts and abilities.
Colleen started attending LCS in 3rd grade. She was her Class Historian in 10th grade and is very involved in the Fine Arts Department. She has volunteered for the LCS Music Camp (9th – 11th grade) and had a leading roll as Belle in the recent Beauty and the Beast Musical production. Colleen has been involved with leading worship for the LCS Praise & Worship (11th and 12th grade) and is a member of Tri-M (Music Honor Society). This year she was on the Basketball Cheer team and outside of LCS, she enjoys volunteering to help lead worship at various churches for camps such as VBS (Vacation Bible School). After graduation, Colleen plans to attend the college offering a degree in her field of passion, Music Therapy.
