The Lakeland Christian School Theatre Department presents two stage productions during each school year—a Fall musical and a Spring play.

The LCS Fall musical involves students in grades three through twelve. Students spend 10-12 weeks in rehearsal, working with a vocal director, stage directors and choreographers. In addition to four performances, principal cast members typically present selected scenes at local retirement homes. Recent musical productions have included Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, Bye Bye Birdie, The Little Mermaid, Annie, and Beauty & the Beast.
Upper school students may also audition for a role in the Spring play. Students are coached in acting techniques such as diction, expression, blocking, characterization and presentation. Recent plays include Applause!, Pride and Prejudice, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood.
