How to Complete an Athletic Clearance Application (FL)

❀️ NEW THIS YEAR – ECG SCREENING REQUIRED
All incoming 9th-grade students must complete an ECG screening before participating in any conditioning, tryouts, practices, or games.

The completed FHSAA EL1 Form and ECG screening results must be uploaded to Athletic Clearance.

Please note that tryouts generally last more than one day. Students should remain available for all scheduled tryout dates.

πŸŽ₯ FHSAA Video Requirements – To Be Completed Once Each School Year

All student-athletes must watch four required videos at www.nfhslearn.comβ€”Concussions for Students, Heat Illness Prevention, Sportsmanship, and Sudden Cardiac Arrestβ€”before participating in any tryouts, practices, or conditioning. Certificates for each video must be uploaded to the Athletic Clearance site before a student-athlete will be allowed to participate.uploaded to your Athletic Clearance account. Save them as a .pdf. We have had problems with those being saved as .jpeg. Also, they don’t always upload from a phone, so a laptop or computer may work better.
